Katie Hovanic earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education from the University of Toledo and her Master’s Degree in School Counseling from the University of the Southwest. A licensed school counselor and intervention specialist, Katie brings more than a decade of experience in education, including roles as a special education teacher and high school counselor. Her background includes executive functioning, academic planning, college transition, student advocacy, accommodations, and supporting students with diverse learning needs. At College Success Plan, Katie helps students develop practical systems for organization and time management, strengthen self-advocacy, and build the confidence and independence needed to successfully navigate college.
