Patty Moran earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University and her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration and Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Austin. She brings more than 25 years of experience in higher education, including extensive work in academic advising, undergraduate programs, and first-year student support. In her current role as Assistant Dean for First-Year Experience at the University of Texas at Austin, Patty works closely with students, families, faculty, and university staff to support a successful transition to college. At College Success Plan, she draws on her deep understanding of the college experience to help students navigate academic expectations, utilize campus resources, make thoughtful decisions, and take greater ownership of their education.
