Laura received a Bachelor's of Science in Education with a Social Science teaching field from Emporia State University. She went on to earn a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. Laura is a James Madison Fellow and spent four intense weeks studying the foundations of American constitutionalism in Washington, D.C.  Before joining College Success Plan, she taught high school history and government for ten years.  In her spare time, Laura loves camping with her family, exploring off the beaten path, and teaching her dog and cat new tricks.
