Shannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication- Journalism from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. She is currently the Assistant Director of College Counseling at the Academy of the Holy Cross in Kensington, Maryland, where she works to guide students and their families to and through the college admissions process. Shannon's professional experience is primarily in higher education, including roles in admissions, student leadership and involvement, fraternity and sorority life, and academic affairs. Shannon lives in Washington, DC and is a native of the Alabama Gulf Coast.
